In order to more effectively meet the property and casualty needs for Southern Baptist churches and entities, GuideStone received denominational approval in 2007 for the creation of two new affiliates — a captive insurance company and a related distribution agency affiliate. GuideStone Risk Management Co. and GuideStone Agency Services were born, and the GuideStone Property and Casualty Program was launched in September 2008.
