How does GuideStone Property & Casualty compare to other insurance companies’ programs for churches already on the market?
GuideStone is working with Zurich Insurance Company to bring policies, safety programs and claims handling that are second-to-none for churches. Zurich, which has extensive expertise in providing property and casualty insurance products for churches, has committed to meet GuideStone’s high standards for product quality and service to GuideStone customers. Zurich is the third-largest property and casualty insurance company in the U.S. and has an “A” (excellent) financial rating.

Is GuideStone Property & Casualty available nationwide?
GuideStone’s long term plan for the introduction of the Property & Casualty program anticipated that, beginning with the program inception in October, 2008, the program would roll out only to selected states. This was to allow for careful oversight of quality and growth, and therefore initially the program will not be available nationwide. In addition, coastal areas exposed to hurricanes will be limited or unavailable for the time being. However GuideStone is committed to expanding the program in a systematic and considered approach to as many churches as possible in the near future.

When should I contact GuideStone Property & Casualty about my insurance needs?
You can contact us at any time! However, the optimal time may be around 90 to 60 days prior to the expiration of your current property and casualty policies. That will allow for enough time to complete the application process in anticipation of your renewal.

The GuideStone Property & Casualty Program is designed to meet the wide variety of ministry protection needs of churches.
