GuideStone is working with Zurich Insurance Company to bring policies, safety programs and claims handling that are second-to-none for churches. Zurich, which has extensive expertise in providing property and casualty insurance for churches, has committed to meet our high standards for product quality and service to GuideStone customers. Zurich is the third largest property and casualty insurance company in the U.S. and has an “A” (excellent) financial rating.

GuideStone’s long-term plan for the introduction of the Property and Casualty Program anticipated that, beginning with the program inception in October 2008 the program would roll out only to selected states. This was to allow for careful oversight of quality and growth, and therefore initially the program will not be available nationwide. In addition, coastal areas exposed to hurricanes will be limited or unavailable for the time being. However GuideStone is committed to expanding the program in a systematic and considered approach to as many churches as possible in the near future.

You can contact us at any time! However, the optimal time may be around 90 to 60 days prior to the expiration of your current property and casualty policies. That will allow enough time to complete the application process before your renewal.
