GuideStone has contracted with Protect My Ministry to give you discounted background check services on their Standard Options package.

By signing up through GuideStone, your ministry’s initial registration fee is waived (a $39 value). Once registered, you may run individual reports or select the Basic or Plus Package for a more complete report.

Here’s how to get started:

1. Sign up with Protect My Ministry. Select the Standard Option* to receive the GuideStone waiver of your initial sign-up fee. However, you will still need to enter your credit card information.
2. Decide which report you want to run.Your choices are outlined below. In most cases, you’ll only need an individual report, but you may select a Basic or Plus Package for a more complete background check.
3. Obtain the volunteer’s information and authorization through a completed Authorization and Application.
4. Review your state’s minimum recommendations for a criminal background check by using the online consultation. GuideStone requires that the minimum recommended package for that state be utilized to meet our standards.

*Protect My Ministry offers additional services, but GuideStone only endorses the Standard Option of their background checks services.
